At the end of december 2013, Abriso, with headquarters in Anzegem (Belgium), has concluded successfully a management buy-out. Abriso is specialised in the extrusion of polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS) foams and air bubble (PE) for the packaging and building markets. These products are mainly used as protective and insulation materials such as PE foam, air bubble and insulation boards (XPS).

Abriso will have delivered in 2013 a consolidated turnover of € 85,000,000 with its 450 employees in its production units in Belgium (Anzegem), France (St. Rambert d'Albon), Slowakia (Cecejovce), Poland (Gora), Rumania (Cluj Napoca), Ukraine (Brovary-Kiev) and Hungary (Sarvar).

Last week the management team has subscribed a capital increase and has acquired Mr Peter Deceuninck's part of the Abriso-shares. Mrs Sofie Deceuninck remains shareholder and will preside the Board of Directors. Mr Jan Dejonghe will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The other members of the management team are : Mr Chris De Mazière (Chief Commercial Officer), Mr Jan Lauwers (Chief Purchase Officer), Mr Geert Vanassche (Chief Operating Officer) en Mr Lukasz Chojnacki (COO Central Europe). This transaction has beensuccessfully assisted by "Deloitte Financial Advisory Services".
