We have taken advantage of our ability to print on foils and plastics in addition to board stock, and have set up a converting operation to turn these printed sheets into various types of folding cartons. In addition to standard gluing operations using cold glue and hot melt, we have adopted PUR for the non-conventional materials. Our PUR System allows for a strong bond on almost any plastic or synthetic material. The strength of the bonded seam is often stronger than the material being glued. When transparent plastics are used, the clear adhesive material allows for a nearly invisible glue seam. With this additional resource, many cartons previously thought to not be possible can be completed with outstanding results.
