Customer requirements for guided medication in conjunction with increasing demand for multi-sided labels offering plenty of space for information have led to the development of two innovative products at the August Faller Group: The packaging solution Pharma Compliance Pack makes it easier for patients to take their medicine, thereby improving their treatment compliance. The innovative, five-sided Leporello label is our response to the increasing need to provide space for more information, for example on account of stricter requirements regarding multilingual texts and new statutory directives in respect to text design and readability. 

Compliance Pack – the right dose at the right time

The Compliance Pack, a unique development from Faller, guides the patient clearly and easily through the medication. Thanks to perforated tabs that are taken off before the tablets are taken, the blisters can only be taken out of the packets in “portions”. In this way, patients take their medication at the right time, in the correct order and in the prescribed amount. The folding carton consequently promotes treatment adherence among patients. At the same time, the innovative medicine packaging provides reliable authenticity protection thanks to its special closure. The Pharma Compliance Pack is suitable for diverse blister designs, materials and forms of administration (tablets, capsules, dragées).

Leporello label – Lots of information in a small space

The five-sided adhesive label also met with positive feedback among users. Thanks to the zigzag arrangement in the Leporello format, the new label provides plenty of space for product information, logos and pictograms. 

The Leporello label can be opened and closed again more easily than conventional info labels. It also allows supplementary, detachable label parts to be integrated, which can be glued into the patient file or calendar for documentation. This new type of label is therefore appealing to many different users, from originators in the area of pharmaceuticals and healthcare through to generic suppliers. 

Besides the Leporello design, the new label provides a grip tab for easy opening and closing. A special coating reduces the risk of contamination. At the same time, the coating allows the pages to stick together without an adhesive.

More value added through combination

Both products can be combined ideally with one another. When provided with a Leporello label, the Pharma Compliance Pack is not only suitable for self medication, but can also be used in hospitals, for clinical trials or in personalised medicine.
