Rexam Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil has just won the Quality/MT (National Service for Industrial Training – SENAI) and Quality (Brazilian Education and Integration Society) awards, which recognise organisations that most stand out in the market for their product and service excellence.

Due to its excellent results, Rexam Cuiabá has been the benchmark plant in management in the State of Mato Grosso since 2011.

Leandro Márcio de Oliveira, Production Manager, Cuiabá, attributes the recognition to a number of factors: “The engagement of every single employee and our focus on the continuous improvement of our work practices are the factors that most contributed to these achievements.”

The succession of awards raises the bar for the plant. The expectation is that these awards will allow the company to measure the plant's current management level and to have a critical view of its actions.
