Rexam, a leading global can maker, has collaborated with German owned, BLC Black Labels GMGH, to launch "Schwarze Eule" (Black Owl), a brand new energy drink.
The striking designs, created by Rexam, use matt black and raw aluminium to powerfully depict the black owl brand mascot; whilst three vibrant colour variations highlight the owl’s features and indicate the different flavours within the range - Guava Lime, Classic and Açaí Cranberry. The result is an engaging design that lends itself to strong brand recognition amongst Shwarze Eule's target audience of 15 – 29 year olds.
Speaking about the collaboration, Rolf Fritsch, General Manager at BLC Black Labels, comments: "We had a tight deadline and were impressed by Rexam's ability to deliver on time and without compromising on quality. We've worked with Rexam in the past and knew we could rely on their design experts in Recklinghausen to do an excellent job. We're thrilled with the cans and know our consumers will love them!"

Launched in September 2015, Schwarze Eule is available exclusively in selected Coop sky supermarkets and hypermarkets.
