Ball Packaging Europe is one of the leading beverage can manufacturers and a subsidiary of Ball Corporation, an international producer of high-quality packaging based in Broomfield, Colorado. The company’s European workforce includes over 3,000 employees and operates 13 beverage can and end production plants throughout Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland and Serbia.

Headquarter Zurich
Ball Packaging Europe’s headquarters is located in Zurich, Switzerland, in the Leutschentower building in the Oerlikon district. This is home to the management of BPE and central corporate functions such as Procurement, Supply & Demand, Sales, Marketing & Innovation and a number of others. This centralized location in the heart of Europe provides customers and suppliers with quick and easy lines of contact within our company.

Germany
Ball has six locations in Germany. The former European headquarters in Ratingen near Düsseldorf has merged administratively with Ball's Technical Center in Bonn to the Business Center Europe. Cross-locational functions like Legal, Finance, Marketing and PR are provided from here. The Business Center Europe is also home to Ball’s research and development center for Europe, with advanced labs and a testing facility for basic development work. Here in Bonn the innovation strategy driven by the management team in Zurich is put into practice. The two production plants at Weissenthurm and Hassloch in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate manufacture steel beverage cans. Aluminum cans are produced at Hermsdorf, Saxony-Anhalt. The Braunschweig plant in Lower Saxony makes ends. The Haslach im Kinzigtal plant in the Black Forest produces Ball Resealable Ends (BRE and BRE+).

France
Ball Packaging Europe is one of Europe’s leading beverage can makers. In France, Ball has two production plants for the manufacture of beverage cans in the north and the south of the country: in Bierne near Dunkirk and in La Ciotat near Marseilles.

United Kingdom
Ball has four locations in the United Kingdom. Beverage cans are produced in Rugby and Wrexham and ends in Deeside.

Netherlands
Ball has operated a beverage can plant in the industrial city of Oss since 1953. The plant produces standard aluminum cans, slim cans and from 2012 the first sleek format aluminum cans.

Poland
Ball has operated a beverage can plant at Radomsko in the province of Łódź since 1994. The plant produces both standard and slim format aluminum cans.

Serbia
Ball has operated a beverage can plant in Belgrade since 2005. Standard format aluminum cans are produced here on two lines.
