Our childproof closure BERICAP e-smoCap™ simplifies the refilling of e-cigarettes for millions of consumers, with a long, narrow drip nozzle inside the closure. The closure is - together with a corresponding bottle - ISO 8317 CRC certified. A tamper evidence band provides protection and security for the consumer. The ergonomic shape of the overcap provides convenience for the consumer.

Aseptic filling

The BERICAP closures easily resist dry decontamination processes as well as wet spray and bath decontamination. They incorporate unique bore seal technologies that ensure tightness against penetration of micro-organisms and longer shelf-life of the beverages. Bottles with BERICAP closures withstand overpressure of nitrogen that helps to eliminate oxygen from headspace and add rigidity.

We offer closure solutions for gable top beverage cartons and bricks. Closure solutions include simple screw cap fitments with and without tear-out membrane as well as carton fitments with cutter.

Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) & Carbonated Water

Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) & Carbonated Water need special handling. While unavoidable damage to PET bottle necks can occur accidentally, even small scratches on the inside bore seal or dents on the outside surface of the neck are likely to endanger product quality.

Child resistance

The trend to greater consumer safety rightfully increases the demand for child-resistant packaging. We offer a wide range of effective child-resistant closures (CRC), ranging from 28 mm to 60 mm. Most closures have a press & turn functions. All our respective closures are certified ISO 8317 child-resistant with the related container or bottle.

Counterfeit protection

Product counterfeiting is a sensitive problem with serious consequences when it comes high-value products, brand protection and consumer safety. We offer a wide range of anti-counterfeit solutions, ranging from hard-to-manipulate tamper evidence bands to security labels, special engraving and laser codes in a variety of formats and designs

Dairy

We keep up with the times and develop the appropriate solutions. The dairy market sees in recent years a strong trend towards PET Packaging. Filling lines are either cold fill lines with subsequent distribution in the chilled chain or aseptic filling lines. BERICAP offers light weight screw caps solutions for 38mm and the - increasingly popular - 33mm PET neck finish. For premium dairy products we offer screw caps with light barrier properties. These closures protect against a certain light wavelengths that are detrimental to the odor and taste of milk products. For long shelf life dairy products we offer several closures with oxygen scavenger capabilities. For differentiation at the shelf / POS we offer numerous customizing options.

As a long-term partner to the edible oil industry, our target is to offer safe closure systems of high quality and with convenient consumer handling for PET and glass or tin containers.

Home & Office Delivery (HOD)

The market for Home & Office Delivery (HOD) of water has been growing continuously in recent years. While employers and home consumers alike appreciate the comfort, suppliers still struggle with poor neck quality and therefore leaking bottles, counterfeits, and high-weight solutions.

Home care

Home care products are commonly found and used in and around the average household. They are a type of consumer good, designed particularly to assist cleaning, pest control and general hygiene purposes.

Hot filling

Hot filling processes as commonly used in the JETS (Juices, Energy Drinks, Teas and Syrups) market, are a particular challenge for packages and closures. Being filled at a temperature of +85-88°C, inverted for closure and headspace pasteurization and finally cooled down to < 40°C, the closures need to withstand hydrostatic bottle contraction and guarantee a tight seal during the entire hot filling process.

Juices, Energy, Teas, Syrup (JETS)

Markets with broad product variety need closure solutions which offer the same diversity. The BERICAP closure program for JETS (Juices, Energy Drinks, Teas and Syrups) includes solutions for the whole product range, applicable to both hot fill and aseptic filling processes. We offer flat caps as well as sports caps (e.g. PushPull and ThumbUp) in different diameters.

Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Spreadables

The market for ketchup and mayonnaise supports numerous neck finishes for various customized bottles. Mature valve technology is a must in this context. We offer a wide range of hinge caps for the most common stand neck finishes. If the volume justifies it, we offer customized design and solutions for non-standard necks. Liquors / Spirits

We’re experts in what we do. This also applies to closures for liquors / spirits. BERICAP has been producing non-refillable liquor / spirits closures with advanced tamper evidence features since 2004. We offer both high-performance plastic and aluminum closures for non-refillable bottles.

Metal containers

Metals experience combined with plastics knowledge - that is what best describes our expertise in the field of closures for metal containers. Metal packaging has a long tradition and is still used extensively worldwide within the food as well as the chemicals/automotive sector. Consequently, the requirements regarding closures for metal containers are extremely wide-ranging.

OTC pharma

We at BERICAP offer screw caps and child-resistant closures (CRC) for OTC pharma. All closures are equipped with a well-performing tamper evidence band. Our closures are offered with a foam liner, and for some closure variants we offer inserted plugs.

Plastic pails

Plastic pails are commonly used in the automotive, paint and food sectors, but also in various other markets. Just as the field of application is wide, so the product range is broad - and needs to meet very different demands.

Soya and other sauces

Soya sauce is an important element in Asian cuisine. Product features like impossible to remove, visible tamper evidence, ease of pouring and pouring speed are important to the consumer. We at BERICAP have developed numerous closure solutions for the market to satisfy these requirements. In addition we offer customized design when volumes justify such development.

Sport caps

Doing things straightforwardly means putting the focus on the product as a whole. This applies notably to products where consumer convenience determines success or failure. Sports caps have gained enormously in importance, and they have to satisfy the highest standards in terms of convenience.

Still Mineral Water

Still Mineral Water is life and needs specific protection. A good reason to offer the best closure solutions for consumer packs, large containers from 3-10 ltr and for home-and-office-delivery (HOD) 20 ltr containers, screw caps and sports caps for all common neck finishes. Most of our closures allow individual designs or printing options and are equipped with well-performing tamper evidence bands.

Vinegar

We offer safe closure systems of high quality and with convenient consumer handling for PET and as glass or metal containers. All BERICAP closures include sealing liners and tamper evidence systems in terms of tear-off bands, bridges or a tear-out membrane, coming with drip-free pouring lips and allow different design features for shelf differentiation, e.g. through outside prints.
