An 8.7 litre SuperLift^® pail from RPC Superfos has been selected for a new range from Saint Gobain Construction Products under its trademark u-can^® brand.

The injection moulded polypropylene container is being used for three all-in-one repair kits targeted at British consumers who take on complex repair tasks. The unique selling point of the range is that all the items needed to carry out a repair, such as a texturing brush, filling knife and bags of plaster, are available in just one pack.

The functional SuperLift has a round conical shape and a protective collar that safeguards the lid and prevents ovalisation of the containers. Its large size means it can accommodate various tools while providing effective protection. This is particularly important for one variety of kit which includes a flexible square wire mesh which must be kept flat and well protected until it is used.

"The SuperLift pail fits our brief precisely", explains Neil Fisher, buyer for Saint Gobain's central purchasing department. "In respect of the square wire mesh it is essential that it is well protected and stays perfectly flat so that our customers obtain a perfect result when they repair a hole in the wall. In this way, the pail contributes to customer satisfaction with our products."

Equally important, in-mould labelling means both text and graphics are produced in clear and razor-sharp quality. This ensures that detailed instructions for each product are easily readable.

"The look of the pail is striking and the overall result fulfils every expectation that we had", concludes Neil Fisher, adding that the project included a number of artwork changes over a short time. "Even though the time schedule was tight, RPC Superfos was very responsive and made things happen within the deadlines."

SuperLift is available in various sizes ranging from 2.1 litres to 21.6 litres. All are easy to empty without spillage or drips, make audible clicks when correctly re-sealed and are 100 percent liquid tight.
