    RPC introduces cup recycling initiative

    RPC Tedeco-Gizeh, the UK’s sole manufacturer of plastic vending cups, is launching a unique initiative to help customers recycle their used cups into valuable second life products. The company is working with its sister business from the RPC Group, RPC bpi recycled products, so that vending suppliers and operators who collect their own used cups can deliver them to the RPC bpi facility in Dumfries. There they will be reprocessed and blended with other recycled polymers for use in the manufacture of RPC bpi’s market-leading Plaswood.

    The RPC Group's Apprentice Academy in Oakham has been accepted onto the Government's Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, enabling the facility to deliver nationally-recognised industry training. The announcement comes as the Academy marked its fourth anniversary with the awarding of certificates to celebrate the graduation of its first group of apprentices who embarked on their training following its official opening in December 2013.

    Using advanced manufacturing and decoration processes, RPC beauté has created the luxury cap for the recently-launched Joy Forever by Jean Patou perfume, created by Designer Parfums. The stylish closure, which features a wide top and intricate detail on the stem to complement the attractive square-curved bottle, is injection moulded in ABS. The complex design involves the manufacture and assembly of several different components to achieve the overall effect.

    RPC Emballages Moirans has developed a new barrier solution for its range of blow moulded containers up to 30 litres. RPC Protect® provides an effective barrier against solvent-based products, offering a safe and efficient transport solution for a wide range of chemical, agrochemical and fuel products. It is also approved for food use. The barrier does not affect the performance of the containers in any way, maintaining their lightweight, robust and shock resistant properties and passing all the requirements of drop, pressure and stacking tests.

Products from Norwegian Mills support a healthy lifestyle. The re-launch of these products in a bespoke improved packaging solution from RPC Superfos recognizes the fact that the margarine business is a competitive one that also demands continuous development in terms of its packaging.

    RPC's fresh packaging for trusted products

    RPC has developed a new series of bottles with a special base design for ASB Greenworld's concentrated fertilisers. The HDPE bottles were created by the RPC UK Design Studio and are blow-moulded in classic green by RPC Kutenholz, in 250ml, 500ml and 1 litre sizes. They incorporate a user-friendly easy-grip handle and a sight strip, which allows the user to establish the fill level and measure out the desired quantity precisely by using the measuring cap.
