Within the pharma industry there are essentially 3 types of dry power inhaler options: Unit dose devices, multiple unit does devices and reservoir devices.
Bona Pharma offers reservoir devices that are available with or without the CE mark and the option to print the brand name. The oral inhaler is manufactured in a Class D Cleanroom according to GMP regulations and has been tested according to ISO10993 requirements for medical devices (GB/T 16886 in China).
Advanced engineering for simpler treatment
Thanks to their specially engineered design, dry powder inhalers are particularly convenient and effective in their delivery of medication to the lungs. Dosage is precise and their ease of use ensures that children can effectively take their medication as well as those who are less dextrous or struggle with other oral inhalers.
To use the inhaler, the user removes the medication capsule and inserts it into the capsule chamber at the base of the inhaler. Following a twist of the mouthpiece into a closed position, the user can then remove the inhaler's mouthpiece cover and push the buttons on the side of the base to puncture the capsule.
Following the release of the buttons, the medication can then be breathed in through the mouthpiece before the inhaler is opened once again in order to remove and discard the used capsule before replacing the protective cover on the mouthpiece.
