The latest brewing innovation by multinational brewing company Heineken combines the same craftmanship as Heineken original with an extra-refreshing taste. The result is a delightful and easy-to-drink beer with a crisp, subtle finish designed for modern taste preferences.
Established Recipe & A Rethought Process
Willem van Waesberghe, Global Master Brewer at Heineken, explains: “Heineken Silver is crafted with all the same pure, natural ingredients we know people love from our original recipe. But what sets Heineken Silver apart is that it is carefully brewed using an ice-cold lagering process at -1° Celsius. The result is a delightfully refreshing, less bitter and easy-to-drink lager that will appeal to a new generation of beer drinkers and a broader range of taste palates. Heineken Silver was brewed to be an all-round crowd pleaser that anyone can enjoy.”
As Cold As Ice
The iconic green label has been adapted for the launch: more silver and metallic turquoise were added to underline the refreshing nature of Heineken Silver while setting it apart from Heineken original. The frosty metallic brilliance is the unique identifying feature for the latest addition to the Heineken brand family.
Long-term partner CCL Label is proud to provide the decoration for the Heineken Silver bottles! The plant in Meerane, Germany produces self-adhesive labels for markets around Europe.
For the returnable bottles Heineken trusts in CCL’s proven WashOff Technology that is already in place for many of their other brands worldwide, such as Heineken, Heineken 0.0, Desperados, Sol and Amstel.
Thanks to the functionality of these special Pressure Sensitive Labels the bottles can be reused immediately after the washing process. When the bottles are washed the labels detach without leaving any traces or contaminating the washing bath. As a consequence, it needs to be changed less often which reduces the overall water consumption compared to other decoration technologies.
