The Comexi 8 colour press offers high definition printing that achieves excellent print quality. It has the capability to process multiple substrates and can print a wide range of products. Other features include auto registration, automated ink control systems, reverse-side web printing, inspection for quality control, high capacity drying units and high speed.
Nick Gamb, Director of Marketing at Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando, said: "This state of the art press technology will enhance both capacity and capability bringing our customers additional flexibility and increased efficiency.
“In the dairy market, in particular, our customers are increasingly looking for ways to make their products stand out on the shelf. Customer buying behaviour is strongly influenced by the look and feel of the packaging. Print is a simple yet very effective way to unify a brand and visually set products apart from the competition, therefore investing in high quality print is essential.
"The new press is environmentally sustainable and equipped with advanced technologies to reduce energy consumption and to decrease set-up and printing waste."
