DESIGN 

Cortepack has an in-house new product research and development department, equipped to originate, design and produce prototype packaging or displays built around the customer's product. In close cooperation with the customer, Cortepack offers solutions to product packaging, handling, filling and fixing problems by means of special interiors. We also supply prototypes for crash tests and pre-production machine trials. Cortepack provides swift customised design of boxes or displays to ensure that the mass produced product will meet the customer's requirements.

PRE PRINTING AND GRAPHIC PROTO-TYPING

The Cortepack pre-printing department works closely with the design department to transfer the customer's chosen graphics onto the structure of the packaging or display unit. Prototypes are built to scale 1:1 or 1:2 to check the graphic layout and allow the customer to assess the result before starting mass production. The department also creates contractually binding graphic proofs with parameters specified for our printing machines, to ensure that the printing proofs are as reliable as possible. Unlike its competitors, Cortepack prepares its printing plates in-house. Once the customer has approved the prototypes and contractual proofs, Cortepack produces the offset and flexo printing plates, shortening order lead-times and providing complete control of product quality.
