Coster offers from table top machines (lab scale) for R&D and validation purposes to indexing machines suitable for single and double stage technology, allowing the filling of solutions and suspensions alike.
The machines can accommodate the use of Coster MDI valves and/or valves manufactured by other companies.

Coster has successfully undersigned a number of collaboration agreements with universities and research institutions. One of them is specifically the provision of an MDI piece of equipment to the Faculty of Pharmacy of a well-known university in Northern Italy. The machine is used to run tests and analyses using single and combination APIs.
In the manufacture of high-quality components for the pharmaceutical industry, a dust-free working area with strict temperature and humidity control is of vital importance. Coster has implemented two ISO 8 Clean Rooms where dedicated pharmaceutical components such as MDI valves, spray pumps, and nasal actuators for sea water products are manufactured.
Production takes place in accordance with ISO 15378:2011, a certification which encompasses ISO 9001 procedures and cGMP guidelines applied to primary packaging materials for medicinal products.
Dedicated electrical injection molding machines equipped with laminar flow modules, high-performance molds, and cutting-edge assembly equipment ensure the products' cleanliness and quality standards.
Microbiological controls are performed periodically ensuring bacteria-free environments.
Over the past 50 years, Coster has acquired extensive experience in the conception and manufacture of high-quality customized and standard packaging systems.

Moreover, Coster R&D Center offers formulation and re-formulation services for selected aerosol and spray products. Customized aerosol courses can be hosted in-house or on the spot.
