CTL Packaging has once again received the “Tube of the Year” Award! The European Association of Tube Manufacturers (ETMA) has awarded CTL Packaging's prototype “Be Unique” in the category ‘Tube of the year'. The jury, composed of journalists and leading European tube manufacturers, have underscored the innovation required to develop a technology that allows printing different decorations on individual tubes in a single run.

The combination of patented IML technology and a new digital printing process offers endless customization possibilities, such as numbered series, limited editions, or individual QR codes. Brands can even create a mosaic effect which allows each tube to show a specific part of a design, amking them extremely attractive on store shelves.

Moreover, this new printing technique, combined with CTL's special IML process offers further decoration options for plastic tubes, including hot and cold stamping in 360º from shoulder to rim, in 4 or 7 color printing, with direct colors, matte gloss combinations, and holographic effects. Tuboplast was also awarded with this prize in 2015, with a recycled material (PCR) tube with wooden cap and the holographic Estube were recognized.
