Our Beverage and Dairy Foods business develops and tests new food products for customers throughout the country. Our plants utilize state-of-the-art retort technology to make shelf-stable consumer products, including sport drinks, coffee-based flavored drinks, cheese powders and flavors, infant formula, sour cream and cheese dips for well-known brands.
At DFA’s state-of-the-art Innovation Center in Springfield, Mo., our staff of top food scientists and engineers work closely with DFA customers as they develop and test new food products and create innovative packaging. Our scientists not only conduct research and development, they are essential to the success of the final product.
Our flexible manufacturing capabilities allow us to produce products in packaging such as steel, aluminum, glass and plastic.
DFA has an expansive manufacturing footprint and owns 42 plants throughout the country. In addition to our own plants, our members’ milk gets delivered to various customers and joint venture partners like Hiland Dairy and Dean Foods.
