DS Smith Neath, located in South Wales, UK, has been awarded the PS 9000 pharmaceutical accreditation. The accreditation validates the Neath site to produce printed cartons for the pharmaceutical sector.

The accreditation of a PS 9000 for the Neath sheet plant, located in the South Wales in the UK, is a step to the next level in our pharmaceutical market approach.

PS 9000 is a global certification developed by the Pharmaceutical Quality Group (PQG) for the pharmaceutical packaging supply industry, and it defines specific requirements and guidance for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in conjunction with implementation of the appropriate quality and monitoring systems, including full reporting and traceability.
