We don't want to go on holiday today without introducing the new packaging we just made for the artisanal soap brand Pécora, because we love it!

Pécora is a craft design workshop located in the Canary Islands, where they create functional and highly sensorial pieces of felted wool. Pécora's philosophy is to bring beauty to small everyday gestures, with unique handmade design pieces such as soaps, lamps, tapestries, vases, pots, etc. 

Many of the pieces manufactured by the Pécora workshop (except the soaps) are totally custom-made, under request, adapting to the requirements of each client, to create personalised and unique pieces.

Pécora has contacted EGISA this year to develop a new packaging with a very natural look for their products, highlighting their desire to get closer and closer to achieve a sustainable and environmentally friendly product. This is how Pécora, its design agency and EGISA have been working together to create the new cardboard packaging. 

The facing of the box presents information about the product and the brand, as well as a transparent window to facilitate the vision of the product and protect its hygiene. Inside, an integrated stand enhances the soap, and there is a small space where wool fibres are incorporated to explain the work done by hand and to provoke subtle sensations when touching the raw material. 

The wool used is 100% ecological and dyed with totally natural dyes. Continuing with this "sensorial" premise, and so that the delicate and pleasant smell of olive soap can be appreciated, 4 small openings in the corners have been incorporated into the box.

The Pécora workshop presents its soaps in individual boxes (one large soap) and has just incorporated a new format, called "Duo" (two small soaps in one pack). 

We wish Pécora much success, and we hope that the new cardboard packaging will help to promote the sale of their soaps. In fact, we have tried them... and we can say that we have become real fans!
