Essentra, a leading global supplier of personal care and luxury packaging, has today unveiled its Golden Ratio Pack at Luxe Pack Monaco. Inspired by Autumn/Winter 2018 trends, the Golden Ratio Pack interprets the themes of classicism, harmony and proportion, depicting various packaging capabilities through seven different cartons.
The seven cartons range from square, triangular and hexagonal in shape, and include various features such as foiling, embossing, debossing, soft touch varnishes, pearlescent inks, window patching and matt and gloss finishes. All of these printing capabilities were artfully incorporated into packaging via Essentra’s Design Hub, which combines both aesthetic design expertise and packaging manufacturing knowledge.
To showcase Essentra’s ability to layer security solutions, the cartons contain fine line print, numismatics, microtext, UV ink and Patron® Taggant ink. Each carton also contains a primary packaging solution with premium labels attached, to illustrate Essentra’s labelling capability for luxury and personal care products, including leaflet labels, wrap labels, Peel 2 Read labels, control seal labels and Piggyback labels.
Essentra will also be presenting a Trends Wall to showcase the inspiration behind the cartons and highlight the themes it believes will dominate luxury packaging in Autumn/Winter 2018. Each theme depicts key and secondary trends, with panels to show how they can be translated into luxury packaging design.
