French group FAIVELEY PLAST, specializing in the realization of high value-added products by processing technical plastic materials, announces the acquisition of SOCOPLAST SA on April 1st, 2019. The group objective is to speed up the development of its Beauty and Pharma divisions and strengthen its expertise in the field of plastics injection.

SOCOPLAST SA, a company established in 1967, manufactures very small products as well as manages small production batch. In the medical domain, it uses in-house developed tools, enjoying high level of technical knowledge and using latest innovative technologies, which focus on plastic materials and their processing.

The company, based in Lugano (Switzerland), considers taking advantage of FAIVELEY PLAST international presence to develop its customer portfolio and to further export its solutions. For FAIVELEY PLAST, the growth in Switzerland will enable the group to develop its Pharma business in such market.
