FS Korea, one of the Asian region's most innovative firms within the cosmetic space, has released a series of brushes specifically designed to offer consumers a better tool for the application of foundation. Each brush combines the spreading capabilities of a fine brush with the direct application utility of a spatula, providing users with a two-in-one tool sure to turn heads.

FS Korea, while conducting extensive market research, discovered that though jars are an excellent container for thick foundation and other viscous personal care or cosmetic products, getting the contents out can be complex. With thick foundations, for example, the product offers excellent coverage but requires a spatula for initial application. Working with several professional make up artists, the firm noticed that the artists tended to use the foundation as a base then mix it on the skin as a painter would on a palette, in order to adjust to the wearer's particular skin tone. Hence, the initial application required a blending tool to be used directly afterwards.

This was the inspiration for FS Korea's combining the normal spatula with a number of agile brushes designed for spreading the product about evenly and blending properly. Observing professionals holding a spatula in one hand and one or two brushes in the other simply seemed inefficient. Now, both make up artists and home users can benefit from the company's new two-in-one tool without having to fiddle about with multiple tools or worse, use their fingers. Dipping fingers in can taint the product with natural skin oils or bacteria if hands have not been properly washed, creating an unhygienic mix right in the container.

The brushes come in a number of bristle options depending on the needs of the user, all of which are cut to maximize application according to the techniques used.
