Our OLD RIVERS brand of packaging machines are exported to over 50 countries and accounts for over 20% of our exports. The strategic decision to take business overseas began from our tie-up with an American business and has been sustained over the years by positive user evaluations of the performance, quality and total balance we provide. We are continuing on the path of evolution in which we are aggressively developing global markets by applying the international acumen we have tuned by showing at trade shows both inside Japan and abroad.
The same technology that is known throughout the West and has delivered over 2,000 rotary vacuum packaging machines to the USA alone has caught the eye of many countries of Asia. We, therefore, opened an office in Taipei to collect information from across the region. Stepping beyond Japan’s boundary and culture has launched the challenge to creating new markets.
