Fanola, an Italian brand and global leader in professional hair care has chosen Giflor's 560 closure to enhance its customers' online shopping experience in order to avoid product leakage at any point along the supply chain.

Part of the Pettenon Cosmetics SPA group, Fanola products meet the needs of hairdressers around the world thanks to an extensive range of premium quality products which are synonymous with "Made in Italy" creativity and excellence. This excellence is further enhanced through the adoption of an ISTA 6-Amazon certified closure produced by Italian closure manufacturer, Giflor.

"A quality product needs quality packaging otherwise the consumer will have a bad experience with the brand. Fanola's professional shampoo formulations are prepared to the utmost quality to ensure that customers have an optimal experience with the product on both a physical and emotional level. We therefore required a shampoo cap that would match this level of excellence and found it in Giflor's 560 which has been proven to remain robust and efficient even during drops or when under pressure." — Fanola.

The Giflor 560 is a cylindrical-shaped push-lock closure which was specially developed for e-commerce. It is produced in PP-copo and benefits from a glossy finish which can be enhanced through the caps color. The patented cap is particularly suited to viscous products such as cream or shampoo which can make a notable, sticky mess when they leak out from their receptacle.

"The trendy-looking cap is both practical and it conveys the quality feeling that Fanola customers expect from our products. It's strong, yet easy opening and offers us confidence that our shampoo is safely packaged." — Fanola

As online shopping becomes an increasingly more common part of our daily lives, the value of e-commerce suitability is becoming ever more recognized as it is fundamental in order to meet with the customer's demand for product integrity. Giflor's exclusive 560 cap is ISTA-6 validated, meaning that it it fully complies with well-known global online retailer, Amazon's requirements for SIOC packaging as it ensures leaks are prevented and no unpleasant damage to the product.
