At Giflor, we never stop innovating! We are always working hard to design and develop new closure solutions to meet customer needs. This year, one of our product lines, the Eco Low Profile caps for tubes, has been receiving quite a lot of recognition and we couldn't be prouder.

On May 9th during the Tube Council North America Membership Annual Conference in New York, the Pilatus IML + PE tube was awarded the Silver Award in the Best Process/Component Category.

PackSys Global AG was able to put together the right technology that allowed them to produce a unique tube finished up with tour Eco Low Profile Art. 772 cap for tubes in HDPE. Thanks to the reduced height of the cap and the material used to produce it – HDPE, just like that of the Pilatus tube - the outcome of our cooperation was a mono-material tube that fits into the PE recycling stream.

On May 24th, during the European Tube Manufacturers Association (ETMA) Annual Conference in Amsterdam, Magdis Cosmetics Eco Low Profile laminate tube was the winner of the Tube of the Year 2023 competition. The tube is the result of a long and strong collaboration between Kim Pai Tuba, Giflor and Sibo Group.

The award-winning tube is characterized by an elegant and minimalist design. It is digitally printed with compostable ink by Kim Pai and finished with Giflor patented Eco Low Profile cap and shoulder (shoulder produced by Sibo), that minimize the use of plastic by 60%. Moreover, all the components of the tube are crafted from PE, making it a mono-material and recyclable product.

Spring has been quite a busy period for Giflor, thanks to these packaging awards and our attendance at some of the most important trade shows for the packaging industry in Europe and the USA - either showcasing our products at our branded booth and co-participating with our business partners, or by having our dynamic Sales Team visiting them.

This autumn, you'll find our team at the following shows where you'll be able to learn more about our award-winning products!

Beauty Istanbul, 27 - 29 September, Istanbul, Turkey
Eurasia Packaging, 11 - 14 October, Istanbul, Turkey
PLMA Chicago, 13 & 14 November, Chicago, USA
