Shrink Wrapping Services

As probably the most common of all packaging methods, shrink wrapping involves fitting a piece of shrinkable film or tape around an object, then sending it through a heat tunnel, which shrinks the film to the exact size of a product or its outer packaging. Shrink wrapping helps protect the quality of consumable products, and offers the tamper resistant covering that is so common at the retail level. The film also gives the product a gloss effect for a more finished, attractive appearance on the shelf.

Shrink Banding

Shrink banding takes the popular process of shrink wrapping and makes it even more efficient. Rather than wrapping an entire product or outer packaging, shrink banding wraps a band around the product, providing an opportunity to group items, add a sample or promo item to the product, or other various applications. A very cost effective method of packaging, the bands are exceptionally strong and provide a great solution for combining multiple items into a single sale unit.

Bundle Wrapping Services

Often found on grocery shelves holding together trays of product, bundle wrapping is a popular method of packaging heavier items such as water, soda, juice, etc. The film is cut to size and is shrunk around product leaving a bulls-eye at each end of the package.  Cost effective and secure, bundle wrapping at Grimes Packaging Company in Florida is great for bulk items.
