Heinz Glas has been awarded as a finalist in the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises 2020” for the regions of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin / Brandenburg, Hesse, Saxony and Thuringia at the 26th Oskar Patzelt Foundation award gala which took place at the Würzburg Hotel Maritim on September 12th whereby 400 entrepreneurs met in the presence of numerous invited guests.

“Setting milestones” - the motto of this year's competition - is the basis for the cohesion of our society

Heinz Glas successfully prevailed against 3142 competitors who were nominated in the six competition regions in 2020, with a total of 6 companies recognized as finalists in the Bavaria category for this year.

The award was accepted by Mrs Carletta Heinz.

As the only business award in Germany, the Grand Prix for medium-sized companies not only looks at numbers, but also at medium-sized companies as a whole, in their complex role in German society. The companies are evaluated according to various competition criteria, such as modernization and innovation or special commitment in the region. Particular performance from medium-sized companies is required in all criteria.
