Honshu Rheem was founded in 1968 as a joint venture company together with Rheem Manufacturing Inc. in the United States, Honshu Paper Co. and Nagase & Co. in Japan. Our main businesses are manufacturing and sales of fiber drums and import and sales of various food processing equipment mainly imported from Tipper Tie.
Our fiber drums have been developed based on Rheem Manufacturing technology and our own developed technology, now being used in a wide range of customer fields.
Our Tipper Tie business delivers high quality processing equipment to not only food processing but also industrial applications.
What we value the most is to listen to the customer's requirements and meet their needs. For instance, our R type fiber drum has been developed as an environment friendly all fibers with few paper dust for the customer of transporting medicine raw materials to minimize the risk of foreign material contamination.
Our line of business includes not only fiber drums and Tipper Tie equipment but also various packaging materials manufactured by our affiliate Oji group companies.
