Lip Gloss Packaging: Metal Balls to Stimulate the Formulation

  • IMS Packaging

IMS’ range of cosmetic packaging caters to wide range of brand aesthetics with versatile classic models as well as statement designs and packs incorporating innovative features.

The LG-1698B uses a distinctive wide sponge applicator with addition of metal balls resting in the main bottle. As well as adding an engaging visual element to the lip gloss, the metal balls provide additional benefits to the delivery of the formulation.

The metal balls work towards mixing and homogenization for liquid formulations, by helping to mix the content thoroughly. When the package is shaken, the metal balls roll around and agitate the product ensuring that any settled particles or ingredients are evenly distributed, providing consistent quality and performance.

Metal balls also prevent settling as some products have ingredients that tend to settle or separate over time. Metal balls help prevent this by continuously engaging with the contents, maintaining a uniform consistency throughout the product's shelf life.
