Manufacturing Food 2016

Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, Nigeria

Food and beverage remains the largest sector in Nigeria’s manufacturing industry. Representing over 30% of Nigeria's manufacturing industry and 66% of total consumer expenditure, its total output is valued at approximately US$20.55 billion – equivalent to 4.6% of gross domestic product (GDP).

With a market of over 160 million consumers and a constantly growing population, Nigeria has an increasing demand for packaged and ready-made food products. The food manufacturing industry can benefit from collaborative efforts with international suppliers who can provide machinery equipment and technological know-how on par with international food regulations and food safety standards.

Manufacturing Food 2016 will keep up with these growing demands by providing a platform for the industry to meet, connect and exchange information about the latest food manufacturing business tools. More than 100 international exhibitors of ingredients, processing equipment, packaging machinery, supply chain and logistics solutions, will have the opportunity to do business and form partnerships with Nigeria's food manufacturing industry.

Manufacturing Food will also feature a high-level conference covering topics on food safety, power supply, investment and funding and technical advancements will attract government representatives, trade and export officials, and senior directors and managers from the country’s leading food manufacturing companies.

A must-attend event for international companies to get involved and establish business in Africa's largest economy – Nigeria.
