IPack has partnered Maison de Parfums Berry, —a favorite of Fragrantica, the online encyclopedia of perfumes, perfume magazine and community of perfume lovers— with its patented oriented magnet solution to magnify the company's amazing fragrances.
Maison de Parfums Berry, created by Cécile Vialla and Charles Berry, is a French perfume house that is still fairly new to the scene, with its roots in the Normandy region of the country. Charles is a native to the region, his maternal family having lived in Normandy for generations.
Rooted in the area where they have lived and founded projects, the history and culture of Normandy was naturally their first source of inspiration. And it is also one of the revelations of the year.
Two perfumers worked the compositions of this line: Anatole Lebreton and Thierry Blondeau. The brand was very daring and 13 different fragrances were launched. Maison de Parfum Berry was born already big and bold. The line goes from soft to bombastic perfumes, and from simple concepts to incredible works of art.
Ambre 35
I would love to share our impressions of one of the best scent of the the Maison de Parfum Berry collection, Ambre 35, which is part of the third collection of the brand. The Tribulations range is a line that comprises intense fragrances in tribute to Cecile's early childhood in Africa and her sensorial memories of the land and the African women, as well as essences evocative of travel. Ambre 35 is clearly a work of Anatole Lebreton, who signs the vast majority of the perfumes inside this brand. It has that vintage personality, that old style of composition that is dear to Anatole and the reason why we love his work so much.
Anatole received a brief to make a deep amber perfume, something familiar and warm, in the tradition of oriental fragrances. He took this idea and developed it into something that is still an amber scent, but shouldn't be called Amber 35, because this perfume is so much more than that.
Ambre 35 is an intense, rich fragrance that lingers on your skin for more than 10 hours in good sillage, developing slowly. It starts off burning like a bonfire but it mellows down into a dense vintage warm fur coat of someone who likes powdery makeup and burns incense. Truly enveloping and lush, Ambre 35 is a spicy, ambery, balmy medicine that opens my senses and warms my heart.
Ambre 35 is a serious, plush fragrance of which we are proud to have played a part by participating in its amazing packaging!
