La Glass Vallée
La GLASS Valley is the world cluster N°1 for luxury glass bottles. It produces more than 75% of the world production for luxury bottles for perfumes, spirits and pharmacy.
Between High Normandy and Picardy regions, la GLASS Valley brings together 65 companies and more than 7000 specialized employees.
This cluster and its centennial know-how, the one and the only in the world, proposes the most famous brands for perfumes, cosmetics and spirits a global offer which is in keeping with the luxury tradition “made in France”.
Technical study, moulds’ creation, glass bottles’ manufacture, qualitative sorting and top-of-the-range decoration are all gathered on a same area and they offer La GLASS Valley the chance to realize more than 75% of the world production of luxury bottles for perfumes and spirits.
The world cluster for luxury bottles for perfumes and spirits, “La GLASS Valley”, includes 65 companies and 7200 employees between Le Tréport and Feuquières but also around Dieppe and Abbeville.
In front of the threat of emerging countries, the world cluster for luxury bottles (French association law 1901 gathering the companies of the valley) sets up since January 1st 2008 and with the financial support of the State and High Normandy and Picardy, a new plan based on four additional axes : fame, innovation, human resources, industrial heritage.
Its Board of directors is representative of the various activities (founders, mould makers, glassmakers, sorters, decorators, artists/craftsmen and complementary activities) and includes 15 majority companies and especially the 4 bigger glassmakers : SAVERGLASS, SGD, Verreries POCHET DU COURVAL and also Verreries BROSSE.
The institutional financial partners are members of the board and also the DIRECCTE and the Regional Councils of Haute-Normandy and Picardy which contribute to equal part to the financing of this world cluster. The operational partners also have a place in the cluster : CCI Littoral Normand-Picard, Seine-Maritime Expansion, CCI de Dieppe.
