Never one to rest on its laurels, Libo has released new compacts featuring a unique combination of decoration options and materials that together form the Safari line of cosmetic packaging. Combining leather, clever painting and colouring, and tactile-enhancing coatings, the company has managed to create compacts that look, feel, and smell as if they had been manufactured in the Serengeti.
At first glance, the compacts look like a variety of other high-quality compacts done up in a faux-finish to emulate animal prints. Libo's version of this age-old favourite, however, goes one step further. The surface is actually composed of a thin layer of leather, adding both tactile and olfactory dimensions. The leather top is then coloured to emulate scaled down versions of animal skins (such as zebra and leopard) to offer consumers a timeless classic that can be part of a variety of packaging line concepts, from kitsch to full-on luxury.
A small mirror is included in the compacts for consumer ease of use.
Libo will be attending the beauty exhibition Cosmoprof Asia 2012 on November 14th-16th at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Libo invites all interested to visit their booth 5G-B2C and check out the latest in the beauty and personal care market.
