Leading coding and marking solutions provider Linx Printing Technologies is opening up further global markets through the extension of agreements with existing distributors.
Following the success of DSI Energy in growing Linx’s presence in Indonesia, the company will be offering support for Linx CIJ and thermal transfer printers through its newly-opened office in Myanmar. Meanwhile, longstanding Linx distributor JETS s.a.r.l of Tunisia will now also represent Linx CIJ coders through its branch office in Abidjan in Cote d’Ivorie.
DSI Synergy has completed a comprehensive training programme with Linx for its sales and service team in Myanmar. “The response from companies in Myanmar has been very encouraging and DSI Synergy received its first orders within one week of operation,” says Goh Yee Heng, Linx’s Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager.
JETS has also trained sales and service teams for its Cote d’Ivorie office and is working with Linx on a plan to expand its activities throughout Francophone West Africa. “This is an important development and the Abidjan office will provide both extra support for customers in Cote d’Ivorie and become a hub to enable us to extend our offering to other countries in the region,” explains Linx Commercial Director Chris Pick.
Linx coders are used across many different industries where product identification codes, batch numbers, dates and barcodes are required. All Linx products are designed with low cost of ownership in mind and are distinguished by reliability, robustness and ease of use.
Linx printers code and mark millions of items every day, ranging from bottles, packages and cans of consumer goods to pharmaceutical products, cabling, electrical components and car parts.
“It is very pleasing that we are able to expand our global offering through the services of these existing, highly experienced partners,” concludes Chris Pick.
