Luxe Pack Monaco unveils the 2018 Luxe Pack in green nominees

Luxe Pack Monaco is pleased to announce today the nominees for the Luxe Pack in green Awards which recognise the best eco-friendly packaging as well as companies demonstrating a responsible approach to their business.

All the nominees will be presented on October 2nd at 4:30 pm in the Luxe Pack conference room, Atrium Hall. At 5 pm, the prize-giving ceremony will then name the winners in each of these two categories.

Organised in Monaco, New York and Shanghai, the Luxe Pack in green Awards are recognised by professionals as an effective way of spotlighting the many innovations and initiatives of companies who have integrated sustainable development into their business strategies and development roadmaps.

The jury of professionals selected by Luxe Pack Monaco have nominated:

Category 1: Packaging Solutions

- AZUR ADHESIFS – Adhesive labels made from sugarcane: these labels are made with at least 83% organically-sourced materials: ethanol made from sugarcane, the world’s largest commercial crop! It is a first-generation biofuel widely recognised for its unique environmental and social advantages.

- BILLERUDKORSNAS –Fibreform Cover: an innovative design allows you to remove the cover after use, containing less raw material and using 3D-formable BillerudKorsnäs FibreForm®, a long-lasting, tactile, 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable material.

- GEKA – Lip gloss- This square lip gloss packaging won the jury over with its sustainable materials and innovative design. The vegan formula contains zero animal products.

- JAMES CROPPER – PUSTERLA – By combining Colourform™ by James Croppers–packaging made from renewable and recycled natural fibres–with the Caleco de Pusterla 1880 cushioning system, brands can now choose a complete packaging solution made from paper fibres, boasting numerous environmental advantages.

- POCHET-QUALIPAC GROUP – L’Essentiel is minimalist packaging. Made from a single material, it is lightweight and recyclable as well as sturdy, refillable and modular. Each compartment can be replaced separately, simply and quickly thanks to an innovative refilling system. L’Essentiel comes with a “Paletbox” designed to hold the full range of shades.


Category 2 : Sustainable business Approaches

- FAVINI –“Creative Reuse in Favini” et “Meet the makers” Initiatives

- GOLDEN ARROW –Zero emission Manufacturing

- VERESCENCE – “Glass made to last” policy

Chantal Thomass will be guest of honour at Luxe Pack Monaco 2015, taking place from Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd October at the Grimaldi Forum. This world gathering of creative packaging will let the internationally renowned designer take the floor to unveil a collection of bottles specially designed for Sélective Line and on Thursday 22nd October she will be the subject of an exclusive interview with Sabine Durand, Editing Director of Formes de Luxe magazine and will share her passion for creativity with packaging professionals.
