Last year marked the introduction of honey jar lids to the Macbey range, and this year we’re buzzing with excitement and going all out to support Britain’s bees and their keepers.

The 70mm diameter gold lacquered lids meet the requirements of UK honey shows, and our workers aim to fulfil customer orders double quick – no sting in the tail lead times.

We added honey lids to our range after a customer asked us for them, so if you are having trouble getting any sort of metal cap or closure, give us a buzz and we’ll do our best to help.

We produce screw on caps in both tinplate and aluminium, from 18 to 100mm diameter in standard (‘400 finish’) and deep (‘410 finish’).

As standard these are supplied with a brilliant clear lacquer on both sides and an EPE liner, but we can provide gold lacquers, colours and custom printed designs (subject to some minimum order quantities) as well as different liners including flowed in seals, embossing and debossing, holes and piercings, and any other fancy stuff you might need.
