Never seen before! What can be done with cardboard is simply incredible! On June 22nd and June 23rd, don't miss the two workshops on "Cardboard Innovations" organized from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45p.m. and from 11:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. at MakeUp in Paris. You will learn about everything on the surprising possibilities offered by a single over-packaging material! And with Asia setting the tone!

A two day event where you will also be under the spell of a new type of animation organized by the Morgane Hilgers Academy and imagined by MakeUp in Paris for its exhibitors. An animation that will enable students (make-up artists & models) to share their passion by designing on a model a unique make-up made with the products offered by exhibiting partners. Quite a challenge actually! Pencils, powders, brushes, creams... they will all fuel the imagination of make-up artists in the creation of their artistic make-up, the result of true research work.

There is a twofold trend in favour of the use of cardboard-based over-packagings in the make-up segment: a real added value for the presentation and protection of products and the development of sales on the internet. What innovations, what developments does it generate? How to address to this new trend? What can be done and not done?

Thursday, 22 June, 12:00 p.m. / 12:45 p.m. - Cardboard, why, and what for?

A universal and unique material
By Hervé Vue, Stora Enso
The over-packaging you were looking for!
A round table moderated by Jean-Yves Bourgeois and / or Charles-Emmanuel Gounod, with the participation of:

  • Luca Meana, Cartografica Pusterla.

Friday, 23 June, 11:00 a.m. / 11:45 a.m. - Cardboard of all shapes!

What are the reasons for the success of cardboard over-packagings? For the past several months, this type of packaging has been a huge hit in marketing departments not only to protect but, mostly to put forward a mascara, a lipstick tube, a make-up case. What is the state of play today? What technical possibilities are available? What can you ask for? Can absolutely everything be designed? What's going on in Asia is worth a visit too... Just in case you were running short of ideas.....

Examples from Asia and elsewhere!

By Florence Bernardin, Information & Inspiration.

This year, the Morgane Hilgers Academy is excited to join the MakeUp Demos of MakeUp in Paris with a new type of animation devised for exhibitors. This animation will enable, each day, students to share their passion by creating a unique makeup made with the products offered by exhibiting partners. Quite a challenge actually! Pencils, powders, brushes, creams... they will all fuel the imagination of make-up artists in the creation of their artistic make-up, the result of true research work.

up brands (Make Up For Ever, MAC Cosmetics, L'Oréal, D&G, Dior, Guerlain, Schwarzkopf, Eugène Perma, Wella,...). Two years ago, building on her rich career as a teacher in France and abroad, she created her make-up school in Paris. Her expertise as a make-up academy director, freelance make-up artist for various advertising campaigns or for the Fashion Week, her role as "French Makeup Ambassador" in Japan or as a "Guest Make Up Artist" on TV channels (France 2, M6, QVC, MCS ,...) enable her to offer top level training programmes in her academy, combining technical and artistic innovations. The variety of training courses (ranging from one day to 10 months) makes make-up available to a very wide audience: professionals looking for refresher courses, new amateur make-up artists or simply fashion and make-up aficionados.
