Malengé Packaging
A profitable company supplying the flexible packaging market utilising the offset printing process with its many advantageous features.
Malengé at first…
Malengé was established in 1908 by Albert Malenge in Flers en Escrebieux, in the North of France. At that time Malengé was one of the pioneers in the French printing industry and the company operated successfully many decades. The advent of the Internet and many small digital printers changed the prospects of the French printing Industry.
Malengé changes its direction...
In 1999, Stefan Kirstetter bought Malengé and formulated a challenging project. To use Malengé’s experience and know how to create a profitable company supplying the flexible packaging market utilising the web offset printing process with its many advantageous features. Malengé was already a specialist supplier of short and medium run products with short lead times. These propositions were until then not available in the flexible packaging industry. The printing process was improved to facilitate printing on different base materials as required by the flexible packaging industry.
...A successful development
As of the year 2000, printed bags, sticks and primary packaging materials are shipped from the Malengé factory. Malengé Packaging has gained a significant market position as a regular supplier to a wide range of industries, such as food, Fair trade products, health products, coffee, tea, pet food, flower seeds and many industrial applications.
