About us
Mar Spa have a funded tradition into the development of solutions for the manufacture of machines dedicated to filling of pharmaceutical liquid and powder into glass and plastic vials, cartridges, syringes and other containers for the pharmaceutical field. Since its establishment in 1967 (by Mr. Silvio Pravettoni) our Company distinguished for having been strong innovators into technical solutions dedicated to pharma production, following and often anticipating the specific requirements coming from the market.
As an instance, MAR realized the first line equipped with non-destructive statistical check weighing system under sterile conditions at the end of the 70’s.
Significant innovations followed in the realization of machines with unitary check-weighing (100% vial check-weighing), time/pressure fill system, equipment with CIP/SIP, lines under isolator (MAR was one of the first markers at the beginning of 80’s), high speed machines (up to 600 vials/minute, plastic and glass).
Within its production range, MAR also propose complete lines for vial washing and depyrogenation, isolators, Crabs, Orabs and external washers.
Study, design and manufacture of the machines are the outcome of a process followed and controlled completely in Italy, in our Headquarters located in Lainate (Milan).
An extremely wide net of Agencies and Regional Sales Offices offer a permanent commercial and after sale services.
Our Sales Organization
Our Sales structure is based on an agency network located all over the world, where some agencies supply direct assistance to Customers while in other countries the Assistance Service is provided by M.A.R. itself, with two commercial offices in India and USA. Thanks to our network, MAR covers the major markets like Europe, North/South America and Asia, achieving an extensive reference list.

Equipment for the application of stoppers by vacuum, for oxygen headspace reduction. Lines for syringes and cartridges, isolators, cRabs or oRabs.
