As in previous years, MENSHEN has once again sold honey for a good cause among its employees. The regional honey comes from bee colonies located in Finnentrop, Germany looked after by a professional beekeeper. The sale of the honey to employees and a top-up from MENSHEN raised a total of 1,500 euros in donations.

The proceeds will once again be donated to the Balthasar Children's and Youth Hospice in Olpe for social projects. Company representatives from MENSHEN management, together with the works council, presented a cheque for 1,500 euros to the director of the children's and youth hospice, Roland Penz, in Olpe. "We are therefore delighted that MENSHEN and its employees are supporting us for the 10th time. This year, the money will be used to modernize the kitchen and the adjoining recreation area for the children and young people," says Penz.

The Balthasar Children's and Young People's Hospice, located in Olpe, is Germany's first facility catering to terminally ill children, adolescents, and young adults with a shortened life expectancy. Since 1998, the hospice has provided care to not only sick children and young individuals but also their siblings while offering support for parents.
