Founded in 1988, MG America is a subsidiary of MG2 in Bologna, Italy and operates from a 20,000 square foot facility located in Fairfield, New Jersey. From this headquarters,our in-house staff provides a range of services including sales, field service, spare parts, and machine trials for capsule filling equipment and packaging machines. MG America’s NJ headquarters includes:
- A Clean Room for trial testing of customers’ products on MG2 Capsule Filling Machines, demonstrations of new technologies and hands-on capsule filler training to augment classroom-based learning
- A Packaging Showroom for demonstrations and customer training on a range of packaging machinery.
In addition to our own expert technical staff in NJ, MG America is also technically supported by our Italian parent, MG2. The company employs approximately 200 people and owns two production facilities covering 45,000 sq. ft in Pian di Macina di Pianoro and Rastignano, both in the province of Bologna.
MG America offers a complete selection of continuous and intermittent motion capsule filling machines, innovative weight control systems, a range of packaging equipment and sterile/aseptic equipment.
