MJS Packaging has introduced a new line of two-piece push down and turn closures to meet the US Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) new requirement for child-resistant packaging on products containing imidazolines (vasoconstrictor drugs). The closures are available in two sizes: 15mm for dropper tip packages and 18mm for elongated nasal spray packages.
This closure is designed to work with various stock bottle and tip combinations, and bears a strong resemblance to the existing closures for these products. These CRC closures are still senior-friendly with added security for children.
Samples are available now by contacting the company and these new CRC closures will be commercially available beginning in June, 2014. In addition, MJS Packaging is also in the development stages with an 18mm CRC metered dose nasal pump.
A major packaging distributor founded in 1885, MJS Packaging operates eight sales offices throughout the US.
