Two of the most exciting pharma products marketed since the merger have been Mold-Rite's EZ-Grip™ and EZ-Safe™ lines.
The EZ-Grip is a continuous thread (CT) closure designed with seniors in mind that have little risk of kids getting into the medicine cabinet. With its easily identifiable, undulating sides, the closure provides those with reduced dexterity or strength an easy way to get to their meds. Each run of the closure offers pharma firms the ability to create a unique item, with the promotional flexibility of multi-color closure printing, custom engraving, and a massive flat area on top for marketing, coupons, and branding. Enhanced shelf impact and arousing the natural curiosity of consumers are all part and parcel of the closure, as an item that satisfies a clear market need for closures designed to provide both a better user experience and a better option for pharma companies.
The EZ-Safe closure, on the other hand, combines the best elements of the EZ-Grip with a child-resistant closure (CRC) closure makes it easier for adults to use while retaining full child resistant features. Available in multiple colors and sizes, the closures further offer an innovative recessed opening where instructions, coupons, and other printed materials can be housed to offer clear information to the consumer.
