We may be heading for the end of the year, but that doesn’t mean things are slowing down at the MW headquarters. On October 25th we attended the Pure Beauty Awards at London’s Savoy Hotel.

This annual event celebrates innovation and creativity in the beauty sector, and this year had a glamorous “midnight garden” theme. With awards given across a variety of categories, including skincare, makeup, hair styling and fragrance products, digital innovation, and packaging, it was a night of thrilling variety that culminated in a double win for the MW Luxury team.

In the category of Best New Design & Packaging, we won both the Bronze and Silver awards. Winning Bronze was our acclaimed pack for the Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder Daylight Edition 2.0 Collection: an oversized makeup compact wrapped with padded PU leather and boasting a removable mirror embellished with LED lights.

Winning Silver was our La Mer Moisturising Matte Lotion maze box, a pack inspired by pinball machines and Chinese puzzle boxes. This fun and creative pack features a colourful playable labyrinth, which is navigated using a ball bearing held in place with a hidden magnet.
