Neopac wins the ETMA Award 2015 for laminate tubes

Good news from Munich: The Neopac Polyfoil® PP tube with the Twist'n'Use™ applicator has been awarded the coveted prize by the European Tube Manufacturer Association (ETMA) in the 'laminate tube' category. CEO Mark Aegler received the 'bear trophy' on 9 June 2015.

The winning tube is used by Safersonic in the medical field for ultrasound gel and has the following properties:

  • Sterile: autoclavable Polyfoil® PP laminate (up to 121° celsius)
  • Tamper-proof cap: internal twist-off without loose parts
  • Single use: no contamination of the contents
  • Hygienic: cannula for precise application
  • Handy: easy to open with the wing cap
  • Safe: Gel is highly protected against external influences by the Polyfoil® PP laminate

A spokesperson for Neopac commented, "we are delighted about winning the ETMA award again and we would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of the new tube concept".

Neopac Announces New Cosmetics Tube Line in US Facility, and launches Polyfoil® Sensation

Neopac is introducing a new cosmetics tube line at its Wilson, NC plant. The state-of-the-art tube line boasts enhanced capacity and capabilities, enabling it to produce an additional 70 million tubes per year, ranging in size from 25-40mm in diameter and 15-150ml in volume. The investment will feature full tube body colorations and seven-color offset printing capabilities, with options for matte, silk, and glossy lacquers. Installation is set to commence in June 2024, with production slated to begin in August 2024.

Hoffmann Neopac AG Introduces Range of LowPro Caps Compatible with EcoDesign Tubes

Acknowledging the diverse needs of its customers, Hoffmann Neopac AG, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty, and oral care, has introduced a new range of LowPro Flip-Top Caps compatible with its sustainable range of tubes. Hoffmann Neopac Names Two Executives to Co-Lead U.S. Facility

Hoffmann Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty, and oral care, has appointed two new Co-Directors to lead its U.S. facility in Wilson, North Carolina, which until recently focused mostly on small diameter tubes for the pharmaceutical sector. Friedrich Holz was hired as Director of Finance & Administration and will co-lead the facility alongside Jonathan Tedder, who was promoted to Director of Operations.
