Can you briefly describe the purpose and goals of your recent trade experience in the Vet Derma sector?

Maud Sylvain-Neugart: I attended the ECVD because I wanted to understand the primary packaging requirements of the Vet Dermatology industry.

What were some key takeaways or insights you gained during your trade visit regarding the current state of the Vet Dermatology packaging?

Maud Sylvain-Neugart: Vial applicators should ease the dispensing of dermatology medicines. Ear treatment requires, for example, convenient and pain-free applicators. These should remain clean after multiple uses. Chewy tablets for dogs to treat parasites are very popular, but spot-on remains the best option to treat cats and rabbits.

Can you share any noteworthy trends or emerging technologies that you observed during the trade that are impacting future Neopac developments?

Maud Sylvain-Neugart: Sustainability is key for the Vet Dermatology industry. It is crucial to integrate sustainable packaging, using recycled material content and/or making packaging recyclable. Multiple-use treatments with accurate dosing and convenient pain-free applicators are what the Vet Dermatology market is looking for!

The future of Vet Dermatology packaging is bright, with a strong focus on sustainability and user-friendly designs. As we look ahead, Neopac remains committed to innovating in line with these emerging trends. Together, we can shape a greener and more efficient future for Vet Dermatology packaging.

The state-of-the-art tube line boasts enhanced capacity and capabilities, enabling it to produce an additional 70 million tubes per year, ranging in size from 25-40mm in diameter and 15-150ml in volume. The investment will feature full tube body colorations and seven-color offset printing capabilities, with options for matte, silk, and glossy lacquers. Installation is set to commence in June 2024, with production slated to begin in August 2024.

Acknowledging the diverse needs of its customers, Hoffmann Neopac AG, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty, and oral care, has introduced a new range of LowPro Flip-Top Caps compatible with its sustainable range of tubes. The series premiered at Paris Packaging Week, January 17-18, 2024, a significant stride in Hoffman Neopac's expanding portfolio of eco-conscious packaging solutions. For example, its tubes manufactured in the EU can include tamper-evident (TE) stickers and sleeves, ensuring product integrity and consumer trust. Hoffmann Neopac Names Two Executives to Co-Lead U.S. Facility

Hoffmann Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty, and oral care, has appointed two new Co-Directors to lead its U.S. facility in Wilson, North Carolina, which until recently focused mostly on small diameter tubes for the pharmaceutical sector. Friedrich Holz was hired as Director of Finance & Administration and will co-lead the facility alongside Jonathan Tedder, who was promoted to Director of Operations.
