A new format coming from the other side of the hemisphere has come to our catalogue to stay! This new packaging has a 500x400 base and a height of 112mm.

The Chilean and Peruvian markets value this format that contains around 8kg and can be used for a multitude of applications. However, the star product for this packaging is undoubtedly the Chilean grape which is exported to the demanding North American market.

Obeikan releases an improved handle attachment for its boxes

Obeikan MDF has redesigned the handle system for its boxes, so achieving a substantial improvement in both box assembly and transportation. This easier and simpler assembly of the handlers also provides an increased resistance to withstand a greater load.

Obeikan MDF uses its own patented assembly machines which provide high performance are based on the principles of pneumatic impact and do not require the use of glue nor staples or any other auxiliary material. These machines only consume electricity and compressed air and are very easy to operate, requiring little maintenance.

Obeikan MDF has closed the first part of the "citrus campaign" with a large increase in demand as well as a rising interest from the European supermarkets particularly those in the UK and Germany who rely on the offer quality and added value for customers.

Designed to serve strawberry producers who have fruits that do not fit inside the existing boxes or have larger varieties, Obeikan has developed new 30x20cm boxes with heights of 65 and 69mm.

Obeikan MDF continues to consolidate its presence in Latin America and is pleased to announce that it has a new member in its sales team, Christian Heusser. Cristian will take care of the Latin America zone, with a specific focus towards Chile and Peru.

Obeikan has launched new varieties of the new 200x200 formats, continuing the ready to go formats. Since the beginning of the year the company has developed and launched new heights onto the market. These formats are widely used for berries and strawberries as well as clementines.

Obeikan MDF organised a special event to witness the laying of the foundation stone of its new manufacturing plant that will be located in Alzira, near from Valencia, Spain. The Obeikan managers were accompanied by a group of important clients and local politicians.

Obeikan MDF will invest 140 million euros in its new factory in Alzira

The company, which is dedicated to the production of packaging for the food industry, has begun the construction of its second factory in Spain. It’s first factory is located in Canet d’en Berenguer, Valencia.
