A GlassPolymer bottle looks just like a glass bottle but is actually made from plastic and weighs a third less, offering a safer and more cost efficient alternative with a thick wall, similar to glass.
GlassPolymer designed as alternative to glass
Traditionally, glass bottles have both a very thick wall and bottom and are associated with delivering quality. GlassPolymer bottles look just like glass with their thick bottom and superior clarity, however the material used is plastic, which unlike glass does not break easily and does not have a heavy weight.
Shape is a the key element of bottles and all Olive Packaging's GlassPolymer bottles have been designed to help to express immediate brand identity, making them ideal for personal care lines.
Adjustable texture with low material
GlassPolymer resin basically gives transparent high glossy surface from the mold. Colored bottles can also be produced in-mold without any additional spray coating. Furthermore, matt finish translucent bottles can be provided on demand, using in mold-processes with heavy PP bottles. Olive Packaging can manage various textures and multi-layered bottles are also available.
GlassPolymer is safe and cost efficient
When you compare a GlassPolymer bottle to a glass bottle of the same dimensions, Olive Packaging's GlassPolymer bottle weighs 1/3 less, providing considerable savings in transportation costs.
GlassPolymer is not only FDA approved as chemically safe for most ingredients but also non-fragile for the strength that it accords.
Olive Packaging provides an in-house decoration facility, providing screen printing, hot stamping and heat-transfer, and customers will also benefit from a flexible MOQ policy as well as a short lead time offered.
Olive Packaging will be showcasing GlassPolymer packaging at Cosmopack in Hall 18, Stand D10.
