Further strengthening the PackSys Global portfolio, PackSys Global AG can announce that with effect from October 22, 2014, it has acquired 100% of the shares of Combitool AG, located in Baeretswil, Switzerland.

Combitool develops and manufactures tube production equipment with a clear focus on the cosmetic market. The company was founded in 1987 by Henry Ueberegger and has over the years become a successful player in the field of laminate and extruded tube machinery.

Since the company was set up, Combitool has earned a reputation for outstanding customer support and it is the goal of PackSys Global to continue this order and enhance the proud tradition where possible.

Hans J. Steurer will continue as Managing Director of Combitool, reporting to Manfred Zurkirch, CEO of PackSys Global. Combitool will maintain both its name and location and will continue to offer the excellent service and interesting product portfolio to all customers, for which it is known.

The company will organizationally be embedded in the PackSys Group in the same way as TEXA and MADAG Printing Systems.

The merger of Combitool into the PackSys Global portfolio will enable an even more comprehensive product portfolio and further improved service for customers.
