PRIMO Contract Manufacturing
Primo Manufacturing specialises in the manufacture of a wide range of cleaning and chemical products, with the ability to blend and fill all types of liquids and powders.
Based in Hadleigh, Suffolk, Primo’s versatile manufacturing processes handle large and small volumes with equal ease.
Environment
At Primo, we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. We are committed to doing all that is reasonably practicable to prevent or minimise, the risk of an adverse environmental impact arising from the processing and use of our products. Our new £1.5m extension includes roof mounted solar panels and a rain water harvester, the products of which are fed directly back into the production process, helping us to reduce our environmental impact, whilst saving costs.
Sleeving
With our state of the art high speed steam shrink sleeving line, we are able to sleeve a wide variety of bottles and containers delivering two key benefits versus traditional labelling:
- Enhanced communication via use of the total surface area of the container
- Sharper printer quality
Formulation
Our experienced technical team is backed up by a high spec laboratory and fully certified microbiological laboratory. We have extensive formulation expertise and can provide any level of assistance required, whether solely manufacturing or the complete process from product concept to customer delivery.
Blending
Powders
We have the ability to blend all forms of powders and granules and handle a full range of chemicals including caustic soda. We can blend in multiple batch sizes up to 500kg’s.
Liquids and Pastes
In addition, we have the capability to blend a wide range of liquid products with varying chemical ingredients, viscosity and colour.
We can mix in multiple batch sizes up to 1000L and handle a wide range of acids including hydrochloric, sulphuric and ammonia.
Filling
At the centre of our operations is our MRP system, ensuring the just in time flow of raw materials to ensure 100% service levels and maximise production efficiency.
Our flexibility and versatility means that we have the ability to fill a wide range of bottles and containers, including: Bottles with cap or trigger | Pots | Tubs | Buckets. We also offer Induction Heat Sealing to increase further integrity and safety of your product
Once filled we are then able to label or sleeve containers before packing, palletisting, storing and distributing in line with our customers specifications.
