In the current economic context, few sectors and companies find themselves in a state of continuous growth and innovation. One of these is Pujolasos, which has just opened a new assembly plant in Torelló, near Barcelona. This plant will be devoted to assembling high quality wood products for luxury markets, like those required for the cosmetic and fragrance sectors.

This expansion has entailed a 1700 m2 extension to built-up land, an increase in employed personnel, new automatic machines, improvements in quality and storage processes, and updated facilities, in accordance with the requirements of these demanding markets.

All these improvements will allow Pujolasos to be more competitive, reduce lead-times, and increase their product variety and the know-how related to them. As an example, Angel Pujolasos tells us, "This will allow us to assemble with materials aside from wood. Not only plastic, but metal, aluminum, ABS, rubber, fur, magnets, mechanisms… a revolution in the industry". The first production carried out was a standard makeup range (lipstick, gloss, mascara, lotion pack, compacts and nail polish). In summary, Pujolasos continues to invest to improve their production processes.
